Simply Green Fuels Phish at Cumberland County Civic Center

Portsmouth, NH - Simply Green Biofuels, the Seacoast's leading biofuels provider, will fuel one of New England's favorite local bands, Phish, when their fall tour brings them to the Cumberland County Civic Center at the end of the month. This will be the second time this year that the band has chosen Simply Green and will effectively reduce the CO2 emitted by the fleet by a combined 1,792 pounds.

Those pounds will be added to Simply Green's "2 Million Pound Carbon Challenge" issued in September for the Seacoast. The Challenge's goal is to reduce the amount of CO2 released in the Seacoast by 2 million pounds. Last year, Simply Green's customers successfully prevented 880,000 pounds of CO2 from being released into the atmosphere.

Phish contracted Simply Green Biofuels® to run B20 in their tour buses and trucks through the non-profit group, Reverb. Reverb, based out of Portland, Maine, has utilized Simply Green Biofuels® for other artists such as Dave Matthews Band, Coldplay, Guster, Jack Johnson, Willy Nelson and John Mayer.

Simply Green Biofuels® would like to thank Reverb and Phish for contributing their part towards Simply Green's 2 Million Pound Challenge!
